Quiz for Lab 10: K-Means and Clustering. Answer every task, then press Check answers at the bottom: each answer is marked, the explanations appear, and you get a score per skill.
Assumptions unless stated otherwise
- Euclidean distance is used, and a smaller within-cluster cost \(J\) is better.
- K-means makes hard assignments: each point belongs to exactly one cluster.
- The initial centroids may affect the final solution.
How answers are scored
- Numbers: type the value as a decimal, e.g. 0.55; a probability may also be a fraction (1/4) or a percentage (25%).
- Rows: one choice per row; each correct row earns its share of the points.
- Your answers are saved in this browser only, so you can leave and come back. Nothing is sent anywhere.
